Booster box vs case
A case is the distributor's sealed carton of boxes, exactly as it left the publisher. We sell cases unopened with the case seal intact, which is the only way to guarantee a case was never picked through.

The exact count for every case is on its product page; publishers change case sizes between sets.
When a case pays
- Price per box is lower by the case, and shipping per box drops sharply because one carton replaces six parcels.
- Case seal: some collectors buy sealed cases specifically because a case-sealed box cannot have been weighed or mapped. That premium exists on the resale market for older sets.
- Allocation: on a hot release we can sometimes fill a case order when single boxes are gone, because cases come from a separate allocation line.
When a box is enough
If you draft once or want to open the set, one box is the right size. Cases are heavy (a Pokémon case is about 7 kg) and shipping is quoted live for the weight and your postal code; within Canada, free shipping applies at C$175 and above, which every case clears.
