What we collect and why
- To fill an order: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, the items ordered, and the payment result. Card numbers never reach us: payment is processed by Stripe on its own pages.
- To answer you: what you write to us by email.
- To run the site: the shopping cart is stored in your browser only; a session identifier and a fraud-prevention signal from Stripe are used during checkout. These are strictly necessary and need no consent.
- Only with your consent: analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand which pages are used. It is off until you accept it in the banner; refusing is one click and changes nothing else. Your choice can be changed from the link in the footer.
- Newsletter or alerts: only if you subscribe; every message has an unsubscribe link honoured within 10 business days.
Who processes it
Stripe (payment, fraud screening), Render (hosting, USA), Cloudflare (network, USA), Google Workspace (email), the carrier that delivers your parcel (Canada Post, Purolator, UPS, Chit Chats, DHL), and Google Analytics if you accepted it. Some of these are outside Quebec; we have assessed that transfer as required by Law 25.
How long
Order records: 7 years (tax law). Emails: 3 years. Analytics: 14 months. Newsletter consent: until withdrawn.
Your rights
Access, correction, withdrawal of consent, and a complaint to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec. Minors under 14: we do not knowingly collect their information; tournament registrations for children under 14 must be made by a parent or guardian.
Incidents
We keep an incident register and notify affected people and the Commission of any incident presenting a risk of serious injury.
